We have been using York Professional Pet Sitting for almost a year to care for our cats while we are away. With over two dozen visits now, we are happy to give them a well deserved 5-star review!! Everyone we have dealt with has been professional and kind, and the photos they send of our cats while we are away really help us enjoy our holidays. The app makes messaging quick and easy and allows us to update any changes while we are away. We feel the price for the service we get is an incredible deal, and we are really grateful for the wonderful pet lovers they have on staff. We are so happy we found them, and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

My Wife and I have been using their services for our two cats for over a year now. It is so nice to be able to go out of town to visit our family and know that our cats are being so very well taken care of. The detailed summaries and picture they provide each visit give you the peace of mind to enjoy yourself, despite missing your pets. I would 100% recommend this service. Service is very reliable and professional. Scheduling is a breeze with the app and management is always prompt in responding to any request that cannot be self-serviced through the app. The sitters are people from the neighborhood just like us, and they are bonded so it is safe. They always take really good care of the pets and even water the plants while we are away. We have used them during an extended vacation abroad and we were able to relax knowing our cats and our home was in good hands. Worth moving to York region just to avail this service 🙂

My cat Mystique was ill with immunity hepatitis and she relied heavily on the Prednisone medication I was given. I was nervous leaving her, but my leave was very needed. Now giving Mystique the Prednisone manually we learned is extremely difficult, nearly impossible for anyone who’s ‘not me.’ York Professional Pet Sitting though put forth phenomenal effort while communicating and problem solving with me. My vet after my appointment after I returned gave me results that Mystiques stats have improved improved because she’d been receiving her medication. Thank you thank you for your devotion to Mystique care while I was away.

I was left without someone to look in on my cat Boba over the xmas break so Googled cat sitting and York Professional Pet Sitting popped up.I sent them an email and they got back to me immediately to let me know they could look in on the little guy everyday. A couple of days later we had a quick meet-and-greet over Zoom where everyone met and discussed some details - little things about Boba and stuff and the care he could expect.When I was away Paulina came every day and topped up his food and water, and looked after his litter (including sweeping up and taking the litter to the garbage). She spent a little time every visit with Boba giving him pets and a ton of attention. I received notes by email everyday with an update and some photos.I often travel on weekends and around holidays, and worry about leaving Boba alone for more than a day. It's was great to have a group of folk who are really committed to the comfort and safety of your pet while you are away - It's good to know I can call them up and count on them.

This is the best crew of pet sitters I've ever encountered! I have a ferret, and most folks don't know how to take care of them. This team did, and was so patient with his ridiculous amount of energy and joy in pushing books off the book case. From the depth and breadth of the initial interview, it was clear they care about animals and knew how to handle all kinds of situations. And the lovely daily notes so I knew what happened in our absence were just delightful. It was also clear they put in extra effort for my little fella. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Choosing York Pro Pet Sitting & Dog Walking when we first got our puppy Pheebs was the best decision we could have made! From the first in-person intake meeting to the convenience of scheduling and payment through the app. It is the best part of my day when I get the update with a picture of Pheebs! The walkers are professional and have a clear love for animals. Shout out especially to Kylie and Meghan who are our “regular” walkers - you are both the best!

Amazing team. I have a fearful , special needs rescue dog and for almost a year the team at York have been amazing in gaining his trust at his pace not theirs; to the point that he waits at the window for his friends to arrive, full tail wagging . I really can't say enough good things about our pet sitting family. Sure, it's a business but they really do feel like part of our family. I was very hesitant to have anyone walk my fur baby, especially since she has some fear/aggression issues on leash, but my fears quickly subsided after meeting with the owner Morag and discussing all of our Cali's issues in detail. They took great care and time to get Cali adjusted to her new friend and ensure everyone was comfortable. Fast forward a year now and we've been using them several times a week... and I can't imagine life without them!! Cali loves her best friend Cole and I feel more confident with him walking her than I do myself now!! Prices are more than fair and the team is trained, trustworthy and knowledgeable. They also provide post-walk reports and updates so you're always in the loop and informed. Whether you need relief while at work or just want to provide your pup with some social time out and about, I encourage everyone to consider this family to help yours!!

Incredibly responsive, wonderfully professional and completely trustworthy! Without exception, the best home based service I have ever used. In this “it takes a village”, “social distancing is essential” but “I have a new puppy” world, I can’t imagine how I would raise my little Munro without them. On a personal basis, Leanne is a gift. I can’t recommend them more than 5 out of 5 stars but if I could I would. They offer a variety of services to assist you in these changing times. They show up when they say they will. They take every second of the time allotted to focus on the needs of your puppy. And, in short, I trust them.

We started using this service a long time ago, but hadn't used them recently until this month. The time in between we had family members at home who would care for the house and our three cats.

We found the service of York Professional Pet Sitting to be as reliable as ever. The questions they asked us gave us a comfort level in knowing that they were indeed "professional" because even though we thought WE were thorough, their additional prompts were vital. This gave us added assurance knowing that all possible bases were covered. In addition the "Time to Pet" software was a valuable app for the phone. On a daily basis when we had some downtime, this was our window back to our home and provided us with additional information and daily updates on how our pets were doing. Comments were informative (and humourous). You could tell that the petsitters also enjoyed what they were doing. If that wasn't enough, photos were also provided. These guys take far better shots of our pets than I could ever manage!

Just knowing that our home and pets were well cared is huge. This is what I call FULL SERVICE and definitely value added because it was a main contributor in ensuring that our trip was stress free.

Upon our return, the house was in even better form than when we had left it.

I give an enthusiastic thumbs up in recommending this company for pet sitting. Very thorough, very competent.

If you don't mind being called a crazy dog mom then we are peas in a pod.

I will admit that I did NOT want to leave my dogs alone overnight but circumstances were that a boarding kennel wasn't an option this time.

Every day that we were away on vacation we received photos five times a day of happy pups in their own home. Their eyes were sparkling and happy. I know they didn't experience the upset of being left somewhere strange. I am a convert and no longer feel chained to the house. I am now comfortable planning more time away from home because this is a great solution for all of our animals.

To top it off when we got home we were greeted by sleepy pups who had been in a deep sleep in their own beds. It wasn't that crazy 'I never thought I would see you again' greeting and they didn't smell like 3 days of stress sweat - that felt good.

And then Gail showed up for the last walk and the place went wild. They lined up with wiggling bums and tails waiting for their turn to go out with her. Thank you Gail for taking such good care of our herd.
