All of the walkers who have cared for my dog, Bambi, have been exceptional. Paula and Ashley have both been incredibly attentive, kind, and reliable, and it is clear how much care they put into each visit. Their communication is thorough and reassuring, with thoughtful updates that show they are genuinely paying attention to Bambi’s comfort, routine, and wellbeing.

They take the time to ensure she is properly prepared for the weather, given opportunities to explore and exercise, and settled comfortably afterward. York professional pet sitting is the utter best of the best. We have 3 cats, one who is easy as pie, one who needs twice daily meds for a heart condition and one who has complex PTSD needs so we were very nervous about it leaving them in the care of others. York professional pet sitting abolished any fears we had almost immediately!!! They Provide such a detailed care experience with Daily photos and a run down of each visit as well as a tick list for each pet. They also made sure our house was secure with our blinds closed at night and opened in the morning. My husband and I are so impressed and will be with York Professional pet sitting for life! What an amazing service! We had someone come to our home to feed and spend time with our cat while we were away for a week and everything went so smoothly. York Professional Pet Sitting and Dog Walking has been an absolute diamond of a find. My partner and I got our first German Sheppard/ lab puppy who is high energy and high attention needs. We both work full time and needed a reliable trustworthy service to take care of our pup (especially before being fully vaccinated and being allowed around other dogs). Morag was very friendly and informative. She took the time to answer all our questions and has been very understanding with our last minute requests for services (as my partner and I can have unpredictable schedules at times). The app is user friendly and the post - visit updates are so sweet. All the staff have been kind, patient and lovely with our growing fur babe - even when he is a little mouthy at times. We left our 18 year cat for 15 days with York Professional pet sitting. We were nervous leaving her as our regular sitter was unavailable.They were amazing. Princess makes strange and very timid with new people in our home. It took her 2 days to warm up and she loved the girls coming in every day. She was purring, rubbing her head on there legs and arms and even took treats and played. We definitely will be using them again for Princess and also our puppy Murphy next time.. Our Vet Dr Knoll told us they are amazing as she uses them as well. She was so right.. I highly recommend them.

What a fantastic organization!! From our initial meet and greet through to a week of walks while we were on vacation, The service has been nothing short of exceptional!!

It’s so reassuring knowing you have someone dedicated to a walk and back up if need be…. So there’s never a worry about someone cancelling.

I just loved getting the daily updates and pictures and you can just tell by the way our dog looks at Madi while on the walks (who was so awesome!!) that she loved her.

We had a great experience with York Professional Pet Sitting and Dog Walking. The owner, Morag, picked up (and later dropped off) our keys. She offered us a video consultation to guide us through the pet sitting process and clarify our instructions. While we were gone, we received daily messages and photos from the pet sitters. Our rabbits were very well cared for. Overall, we would highly recommend this agency.

Our caregiver was very patient and understanding with the girls. They were looked after very well and I felt very comfortable with having them in our home. I cannot say enough positive things about the team at YPPS. They have come through for me and my pup Toby time and time again. My schedule is rather frantic as my dog is occasionally babysat by family and the team at YPPS is always so receptive to our scheduling needs, despite being unpredictable! They are very quick to reply to inquiries, have saved our buns when we have had urgent care needs, and Toby has loved every single walker that's come by. Everyone is kind, respectful, super friendly with my old boy, and takes the absolute best photos of him with every walk! My Wife and I have been using their services for our two cats for over a year now. Service is very reliable and professional. Scheduling is a breeze with the app and management is always prompt in responding to any request that cannot be self-serviced through the app. The sitters are people from the neighborhood just like us, and they are bonded so it is safe. They always take really good care of the pets and even water the plants while we are away. We have used them during an extended vacation abroad and we were able to relax knowing our cats and our home was in good hands. Worth moving to York region just to avail this service 🙂

My cat Mystique was ill with immunity hepatitis and she relied heavily on the Prednisone medication I was given. I was nervous leaving her, but my leave was very needed. Now giving Mystique the Prednisone manually we learned is extremely difficult, nearly impossible for anyone who’s ‘not me.’ York Professional Pet Sitting though put forth phenomenal effort while communicating and problem solving with me. My vet after my appointment after I returned gave me results that Mystiques stats have improved improved because she’d been receiving her medication. Thank you thank you for your devotion to Mystique care while I was away.

I was left without someone to look in on my cat Boba over the xmas break so Googled cat sitting and York Professional Pet Sitting popped up.
I sent them an email and they got back to me immediately to let me know they could look in on the little guy everyday. A couple of days later we had a quick meet-and-greet over Zoom where everyone met and discussed some details - little things about Boba and stuff and the care he could expect.
When I was away Paulina came every day and topped up his food and water, and looked after his litter (including sweeping up and taking the litter to the garbage). She spent a little time every visit with Boba giving him pets and a ton of attention. I received notes by email everyday with an update and some photos.

I often travel on weekends and around holidays, and worry about leaving Boba alone for more than a day. It's was great to have a group of folk who are really committed to the comfort and safety of your pet while you are away - It's good to know I can call them up and count on them.

This is the best crew of pet sitters I've ever encountered! I have a ferret, and most folks don't know how to take care of them. This team did, and was so patient with his ridiculous amount of energy and joy in pushing books off the book case. From the depth and breadth of the initial interview, it was clear they care about animals and knew how to handle all kinds of situations. And the lovely daily notes so I knew what happened in our absence were just delightful. It was also clear they put in extra effort for my little fella. I can't recommend them highly enough.
