I had such a wonderful experience with YPPS! I needed mid-day visit for my senior dog, Luna, and the level of care and love they gave her went so above and beyond. All my notes and instructions were carefully followed, and they were very responsive whenever I needed to reach out about any changes. It was amazing having peace of mind at work knowing that Luna was getting all the care she needed. Reading the reports the pet sitters would send me after each visit was such a highlight of my day. I could tell by how they talked about my little lady and the pictures they sent me of her, that she was so happy to have a new friend stop by every day. I already knew the team at YPPS was amazing, so my expectations were high, but they still managed to exceed them. I will 100% be using them again in the future when I need them again, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality pet care.

York Professional, are exactly that; very Professional! This is my second time around with a puppy with them. They are Professional, punctual, and give special and loving care to my pup and older dog. They send fun little updates and pictures. We have 3 cats, one who is easy as pie, one who needs twice daily meds for a heart condition and one who has complex PTSD needs so we were very nervous about it leaving them in the care of others. York professional pet sitting abolished any fears we had almost immediately!!! They Provide such a detailed care experience with Daily photos and a run down of each visit as well as a tick list for each pet. They also made sure our house was secure with our blinds closed at night and opened in the morning. My husband and I are so impressed and will be with York Professional pet sitting for life! What an amazing service! We had someone come to our home to feed and spend time with our cat while we were away for a week and everything went so smoothly. York Professional Pet Sitting and Dog Walking has been an absolute diamond of a find. My partner and I got our first German Sheppard/ lab puppy who is high energy and high attention needs. We both work full time and needed a reliable trustworthy service to take care of our pup (especially before being fully vaccinated and being allowed around other dogs). Morag was very friendly and informative. She took the time to answer all our questions and has been very understanding with our last minute requests for services (as my partner and I can have unpredictable schedules at times). The app is user friendly and the post - visit updates are so sweet. All the staff have been kind, patient and lovely with our growing fur babe - even when he is a little mouthy at times. We had a fantastic experience with York Professional Pet Sitting this past weekend! Lindsay took amazing care of our two pets, Luna and Astro, and kept us updated with regular photos and messages. We left our 18 year cat for 15 days with York Professional pet sitting. We were nervous leaving her as our regular sitter was unavailable.They were amazing. Princess makes strange and very timid with new people in our home. It took her 2 days to warm up and she loved the girls coming in every day. She was purring, rubbing her head on there legs and arms and even took treats and played. We definitely will be using them again for Princess and also our puppy Murphy next time.. Our Vet Dr Knoll told us they are amazing as she uses them as well. She was so right.. I highly recommend them.

We have used York Professional Dog walking and pet sitting to take care of our 2 cats a number of times and have been very happy with their services. One of our cats is very shy and often won’t come out when there are people in the house, especially new ones. By the end of the 1st visit she is coming out and even playing with their staff. That is absolutely amazing! It makes me so happy to know she is happy and getting the love she needs so much. Our cat can be very mischievous and get into things especially when board. The staff pay attention to small details like ensuring everything is put away securely before leaving keeping him safe and not getting into trouble. Love the daily updates and pictures they send. Don’t hesitate leaving your pet with this pet care service.

I cannot say enough positive things about the team at YPPS. They have come through for me and my pup Toby time and time again. My schedule is rather frantic as my dog is occasionally babysat by family and the team at YPPS is always so receptive to our scheduling needs, despite being unpredictable! They are very quick to reply to inquiries, have saved our buns when we have had urgent care needs, and Toby has loved every single walker that's come by. Everyone is kind, respectful, super friendly with my old boy, and takes the absolute best photos of him with every walk! We left our two cats at home for a long weekend for the first time. Elizabeth took great care of them . She gave us thorough updates and pictures. She even cleaned up the mess of a raccoon that got into our green bin … that definitely went above and beyond!! Thank you!!!!

You will receive a report from every visit with a photo and you will never have to worry about your pets. I have pure bred Labs and when I told my breeder that I was using this service, she said I couldn't have made a better choice.

I really can't say enough good things about our pet sitting family. Sure, it's a business but they really do feel like part of our family. I was very hesitant to have anyone walk my fur baby, especially since she has some fear/aggression issues on leash, but my fears quickly subsided after meeting with the owner Morag and discussing all of our Cali's issues in detail. They took great care and time to get Cali adjusted to her new friend and ensure everyone was comfortable. Fast forward a year now and we've been using them several times a week... and I can't imagine life without them!! Cali loves her best friend Cole and I feel more confident with him walking her than I do myself now!! Prices are more than fair and the team is trained, trustworthy and knowledgeable. They also provide post-walk reports and updates so you're always in the loop and informed. Whether you need relief while at work or just want to provide your pup with some social time out and about, I encourage everyone to consider this family to help yours!!

Incredibly responsive, wonderfully professional and completely trustworthy! Without exception, the best home based service I have ever used. In this “it takes a village”, “social distancing is essential” but “I have a new puppy” world, I can’t imagine how I would raise my little Munro without them. On a personal basis, Leanne is a gift. I can’t recommend them more than 5 out of 5 stars but if I could I would. They offer a variety of services to assist you in these changing times. They show up when they say they will. They take every second of the time allotted to focus on the needs of your puppy. And, in short, I trust them.

Morag and her team were there in 2019 to help me through a difficult health crisis. I knew without a doubt that my dog was being well taken care of, whether she was being taken for a walk...or visited at home. We started using this service a long time ago, but hadn't used them recently until this month. The time in between we had family members at home who would care for the house and our three cats. We found the service of York Professional Pet Sitting to be as reliable as ever. The questions they asked us gave us a comfort level in knowing that they were indeed "professional" because even though we thought WE were thorough, their additional prompts were vital. This gave us added assurance knowing that all possible bases were covered. In addition the "Time to Pet" software was a valuable app for the phone. On a daily basis when we had some downtime, this was our window back to our home and provided us with additional information and daily updates on how our pets were doing. Comments were informative (and humourous). You could tell that the petsitters also enjoyed what they were doing. If that wasn't enough, photos were also provided. These guys take far better shots of our pets than I could ever manage! Just knowing that our home and pets were well cared is huge. This is what I call FULL SERVICE and definitely value added because it was a main contributor in ensuring that our trip was stress free. Upon our return, the house was in even better form than when we had left it. I give an enthusiastic thumbs up in recommending this company for pet sitting. Very thorough, very competent. We will gladly use them again.

If you don't mind being called a crazy dog mom then we are peas in a pod. I will admit that I did NOT want to leave my dogs alone overnight but circumstances were that a boarding kennel wasn't an option this time. Every day that we were away on vacation we received photos five times a day of happy pups in their own home. Their eyes were sparkling and happy. I know they didn't experience the upset of being left somewhere strange. I am a convert and no longer feel chained to the house. I am now comfortable planning more time away from home because this is a great solution for all of our animals. To top it off when we got home we were greeted by sleepy pups who had been in a deep sleep in their own beds. It wasn't that crazy 'I never thought I would see you again' greeting and they didn't smell like 3 days of stress sweat - that felt good. And then Gail showed up for the last walk and the place went wild. They lined up with wiggling bums and tails waiting for their turn to go out with her. Thank you Gail for taking such good care of our herd.
