Takes Care of Unexpected Accidents

Puppies are still learning, and accidents happen. If we discover one, we’ll clean the area as thoroughly as possible using the supplies you provide. If bedding has been soiled, we’ll replace it with fresh bedding when available so your puppy is always comfortable.

More Precise Timing for Puppies

Our regular visits are scheduled within a two-hour arrival window. Because puppy care is more time-sensitive, puppies under one year receive a complimentary one-hour arrival window.

You’re never locked into one length

Puppy Visit Options and Pricing

Choose the visit lengths that best match your puppy’s age, feeding schedule, bathroom needs, energy level and the amount of time they will be alone.
You don’t need to choose the same visit length throughout the day or as your puppy grows.
Puppy Essentials — 30 minutes
$32.25 + HST

Time for a bathroom opportunity, fresh water, personal attention and light play, with feeding when required. We can also reinforce the familiar cues and routines your puppy is learning.

A good fit for: Most puppies needing a dependable daytime visit with enough time for their essential care.

Puppy Play and Enrichment — 45 minutes
$37.25 + HST

Everything included in Puppy Essentials, with additional time for play, enrichment, companionship and reinforcement of familiar training cues.

A good fit for: Energetic puppies or those spending a longer part of the day alone.

Extended Puppy Care — 60 minutes
$44.25 + HST

An unhurried visit with plenty of time for bathroom needs, feeding, play, enrichment, training reinforcement and companionship, all personalized to your puppy’s routine.

A good fit for: Very active puppies, longer days away or puppy parents who would like their puppy to receive more activity and personal attention.

Quick Puppy Break — 15 minutes
$29 + HST

A short, timely bathroom opportunity and check-in for puppies who need an additional break during the day.

Additional note

Longer puppy visits may also be available by request. Talk to us about your puppy and schedule, and we’ll help you decide whether extended care would be useful.

Mix and Match to Suit Your Puppy’s Day

Your puppy’s visits don’t all need to be the same length. Depending on their age and how long they will be alone, you might choose a shorter visit in the morning, a longer visit around lunchtime and another break later in the afternoon.

You can also change visit lengths and frequency as your puppy grows. There are no packages to purchase and no minimum number of visits.

We can accommodate changing and rotating schedules in most circumstances, although all visits remain subject to availability.

Each week, you’ll receive confirmation of the following week’s visits. Changes should be submitted through the app or conversation feed by 4:00 PM on Friday, before the following week’s routes and team schedules are finalized.

Additional Dogs

Every published rate includes care for one dog. An additional fee of $8 + HST per visit applies for each additional dog in the home.

No Travel Charges Within Our Service Area

Our regular rates apply throughout Newmarket, Aurora, Sharon and Holland Landing.

Why Puppy Parents Trust YPPS

During a puppy’s early months, consistency, careful observation and dependable backup matter enormously.

Employees, Never Independent Contractors

Every person entering your home is a YPPS employee who has completed our screening and training process. Our team members are insured, bonded, background checked, and trained and certified in Pet First Aid and CPR.

Consistent Care Across Our Team

Every team member follows the same detailed information about your puppy’s feeding, bathroom and crate routines, familiar cues, handling preferences and individual needs.

Private, Personalized Care

Your puppy receives individual attention. We do not provide group walks, use crowded vans or visit dog parks.

A Professional Team Behind Every Visit

You are not relying on one person with no backup. Our management team oversees the schedule and can respond when illness, emergencies or unexpected circumstances affect the day.

A Detailed Update After Every Visit

After each visit, you’ll receive photographs and a written update through our secure app. We may also send occasional videos when we capture something worth sharing.

GPS Tracking and Management Oversight

Visits are GPS tracked and supported by management oversight. If something unexpected affects the schedule, our office knows and can take action.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about home access, cancellations, holidays or our team? Visit our complete FAQ page.

Does My Puppy Need to Have All Their Vaccinations?

No. Because our puppy visits are private and take place in your home, care can begin before your puppy has completed their full vaccination series.

Until your veterinarian confirms that public outings are appropriate, we’ll keep your puppy’s activity within your home and secure yard and will not allow interaction with unfamiliar dogs.

How Old Does My Puppy Need to Be?

We can begin caring for your puppy as soon as they come home and your account and introductory meeting are complete. Very young puppies may require shorter, more frequent visits throughout the day.

Will You Feed My Puppy Their Lunch?

Absolutely. Many young puppies require a midday meal, and we’re happy to follow the feeding instructions you provide. We can serve their food, refresh their water and provide a bathroom opportunity afterward.

Will You Continue the Training We’re Doing With Our Puppy?

Yes. Although we don’t replace a puppy class or professional dog trainer, we will follow the familiar words, cues and positive techniques you are already using.

We’ll ask you to share those details so your puppy receives consistent messages from everyone involved in their care.

Can You Help With Crate and House Training?

Our visits can support the bathroom and crate routines you are establishing. We’ll follow your instructions, provide timely bathroom opportunities and settle your puppy back into their crate before leaving when that is part of their routine.

Will the Same Person Visit My Puppy Every Time?

Your puppy may be cared for by more than one familiar team member. This provides dependable backup and gives your puppy positive experiences with several calm, trusted caregivers.

What remains consistent is the care itself. Every team member follows the same detailed information about your puppy’s routine, familiar cues and individual needs.

When Your Puppy Grows Up

Care That Grows With Your Puppy

As your puppy matures, their daytime needs will change. We can gradually adjust the timing, length and focus of their visits based on what you are seeing at home and what we observe during their care.

When your puppy is ready for more neighbourhood exercise, we can transition them smoothly into our private dog-walking service. They’ll continue receiving personalized care from the same dependable YPPS team.
