Lindsay was born in Toronto in the early 1980’s but moved to Newmarket at the age 5 with her Mom. Her love of animals began at a young age, beginning with a bunny named Robin shortly after moving to Newmarket and her passion for animals evolved over the years into a love for the Bichon Frise dog breed. You could say that Lindsay and her family are well known in their neighbourhood and by friends as the Bichon clan, as they have 5 of them between them.
Lindsay met her best friend in 2002 and married in 2008. Lindsay and her husband, Jeff are owned by two Bichons named Charlie and Baxter, two brothers ages 5 and 4 respectively, whom she affectionately calls “her kids”. She adores her kids so much so that she included them in her wedding.
Lindsay works downtown on Bay Street during the day and helps us out in the evenings, weekends and overnights.
Lindsay is a passionate animal rights advocate, advocating for those that do not have a voice. She is disciplined and punctual and she really enjoys a good yoga class at the end of the day to decompress. One day, she hopes to be able to leave Bay Street and teach yoga and pet sit the rest of her days.
There is no love quite like that from a pet. It’s simple, pure, honest and devoted love. Lindsay will love your pet as if they were her own.
